What is Meridian Hill Neighbors Coalition?
We are the Meridian Hill Neighbors Coalition (MHNC), a group of concerned residents fighting for our neighborhood's future.
Our coalition opposes decisions made by D.C. city authorities that would allow Meridian International Center and Westbrook Partners to build 110 luxury condos, a parking garage, and a conference center in what are now the historically designated Meridian International Center gardens.
These plans will have a detrimental effect on our community. Our goal is to raise awareness and gain support for efforts to prevent the development, and continue the so far successful legal battle begun by our predecessor group of roughly 10 years - Keep Meridian Hill Green.
